Stats: 177cm/5'10 ; 75kg/165lbs
Hello guys,
I have a problem: Whenever I bench press, I get sore shoulders the next day. I'm pretty sure my form is correct and I don't have any pain during or immediately after the workout, but the next day my shoulder joints ache. My current 5rm is 82,5kg/182lbs, so not that heavy. I take a rather narrow grip, my pinky finger being roughly one handbreadth away from the rings. I have no problems when doing overhead presses or unweighted dips.
The pain is not unbearable, but I am somewhat worried that I'll damage my shoulders in the long term. Should I continue or simply ditch the bench? Any input is appreciated.
