Moronic Monday - Your weekly stupid questions thread

My problem is when it hits like 7 or 8 at night I just want to unwind with snacks and TV. But I've been eating like a full bag of chips, then switching to ice cream. Was even snacking on peanut butter for a while. I think because I abstained from snacking for so long that once I started to, I completely overdid it. I'm typically not hungry til dinner time though when I'm just drinking the two shakes. But yeah the last 3 months or so I've packed on like 30-40lbs and that's just ridiculous so I'm trying to get back on track but I think I set my calorie intake so high now that I feel almost feint when I'm not consuming excessive amounts at night. I pretty much have to detox right now for a couple days and hope I can reset my hunger.

I'll definitely keep those numbers in mind though for protein intake. Really appreciate the thorough response.

I'm hoping that I can do something like Mac from Always Sunny and just start harvesting all this mass that I've cultivated. I maintained 210-220 for around a year and a half but never once got lower than 208. I'm 6 foot and I know it says I should be around 160-180 but that just seems unrealistic for me. And honestly I've never been lean, my entire life except for a brief period when I was 17. I used to be 320, dropped to 210, now I've gone back up to 265. If I can get back to 210-220 I'll feel a lot better about myself and just in general I think. If I can get below 200 I'll feel like an athlete lol.
