The status quo in America will just lead to more traffic and commute times. That’s the cost of not caring.

Most citizens and city leadership doesn’t even understand that there’s an alternative, and will keep building in the same unsustainable, stressful high-traffic traffic crash death pattern.

Many of these big problems are actually easy to resolve in a lifetime. Buses, bus rapid transit, separated bike lanes, lane reduction and traffic calming are all very cheap solutions.

Building homes and development projects in a way that doesn’t exclude pedestrian and cyclist traffic or isolate the community from transit isn’t rocket science either.
