Most efficient way to self-study and build job skills as soon as possible? Web development?

Yes. MEAN or MERN.

You don't need a university. Is there anything you can't teach yourself for that much money? Besides, looks like you are doing a damn good job on progressing towards your goal.

I hear a lot of people say: "No! Uni is important! It teaches you the very basics, everything as a whole! You can't be a developer if you don't know these!". You can, and if you ever need these math/hardware/algos/architecturing skills you can easily teach them to yourself using much better resources and within much less time. These people are just trying to justify their bad investments. A defensive reaction, if you will.

It'd be a bit of struggle, but that's doable. You pay this 30k to youself. Wouldn't you hustle a bit for this good money? Network, build projects, apply, apply, apply.

Uni is not worth it.
