What is it about those qualities of soccer balls that you think means they’re not good evidence for what I find more painful?

I live in the USA, so baseballs are an available point of reference now. I grew up in the UK, so soccer balls were an available point of reference at the time where I most regularly hurt myself in various places. If you think baseballs are generally more painful to be hit with than soccer balls, I broadly agree, but to make your point you’d need to show that there’s something that actively ‘doesn’t count’ about the pain one feels from being hit with a soccer ball, such that only men who have played baseball (a sport not regularly played outside of North America, the Caribbean, and Japan) get to have an opinion about what is and isn’t painful.
