Fun anecdote: I applied for a job as a video editor 9 months ago at a place my friend worked at. It was a solid e-mail in my opinion and my friend even recommended me to them in person. 2 e-mails from me later I still never ever received anything back from them.

The past week I've gotten multiple calls. Apparently my friend is leaving the place because he's pursuing a higher education and they desperately need someone to fill his position asap.

Called them back yesterday stating I'm 'too busy' with my own projects for me to get back to them. Told the guy I'll let them know at a later date.

Never really that type of guy but leaving them hanging now feels good haha.
