The Most Important Part Is Just Not Giving Up On Yourself

I like the way you look at things.

I think people just don't realize how much time they waste during an average day. Before I changed my habits I was going to bed at 2am or later every day because I would be watching netflix or gaming. Literally from probably 9pm-2am every night during the week I'd be wasting time in front of a screen. And a lot during the day too. Screen time passes so quickly for our brains that people can't even comprehend exactly how much time has passed. For instance ask yourself what feels longer: an hour of creating and organizing excel spreadsheets or watching a tv show literally designed for binge watching and keeping you sucked in?

That's why a lot of people feel like they "never have any time". I know because I used to be that person. And now that I've limited my screen time to the occasional movie in theater and 1-2 hours of gaming per week to keep me sane I have all the time in the world. It's a great feeling.
