Most of you have jobs. What do you need to do to find a career?

I think very few people know exactly what they want to do and that doing it exceeds their expectations. If you are just starting out, try out something that sounds interesting and see if it works out. Learn from your failures and find what you're good or bad at.

If you want to climb up the ladder then give it 2-3 years in a business and if opportunities don't come then leave; there is no reason to stay in the same position for more than 3 years unless the pay is great or you're being promoted. The most successful people I know are job hoppers (2-3 years before hopping). This works because most businesses know they are terrible at growing employees and would rather hire from outside.
