Why most Latin American countries don't support Brazil in a permanent seat?

That's not what Latinos are, it has little to do with the fact that our languages come from Latin. Latinos are the racial/cultural groups of the Caribbean as well as south and central America that have a shared history of colonialism, a mix of African/European/Native influence in their cultures and that are mostly Roman Catholic. I do not understand why others in this thread are saying that Latinos aren't a united people and don't identify with the term when some of our biggest artists and political leaders push this sentiment and are celebrated for it (some notable examples, both modern and historical are: bad bunny, canserbero, lin manuel miranda, gabriel garcia marquez, among many others)
