The Most Logical (And Craziest) MH370 Conspiracy Theories |

I just read the new york times article you mentioned.

As I said, reading through the comments on this sub, I was surprised to realize that the pilot was now apparently the n°1 suspect, which wasn't the case when I last checked on the main popular theories a few months back. And apart from what you indeed already mentioned in other comments: his political views, I couldn't really see or understand well enough how you seemed to be a majority to now agree on this theory. I was looking for a comprehensive list of other criteria, but it seems that - although they are not actually backed up since the informations is still very limited - your theory is indeed now considered as a major one worth looking into, not only by random people on the internet but also by "various experts".

I'm not qualified enough to really understand all of the deeper clues anyway: the technical stuff is far beyond me (especially since most good articles are in english which isn't my first language), same thing for the political context involved: I know almost nothing about malaysia politics... I'll just wait until more information emerge.

But: reading through your comments, my reaction was "yeah it's a possibility, but most of my social media activity involves politics too, even if i'm not an activist. This guy could have been a political activist, most of his relatives seem to sincerely doubt he could have any motive to make a plane disappear, plus he wasn't considered such a likely suspect only a few months ago... I don't see what has changed, there doesn't to be a lot of new clues, or what or they?"

But now that I've read a bit more, I feel like I'm updated about this whole affair, and I hope we will really find out more soon (even if that means coming back to day 1 if this now dominant theory falls apart for whatever reason... you never know)
