Ya I’ve had to do kingdom building this year and I hate it.

Not even to “match” other staff’s, (marks are great without it) but to make sure they don’t steal my shit

I’m so close to sr staff that ima try hard to get past the finish line but def done with the promo game shenanigans after that (if I get it).

Trying to relax and just do interesting projects as an IC

I am really hoping that toxic stuff is only required for gunning for next level and not just staying in place. It’s really such a fucking grind and not in the way you think. All technical work done ages ago and just mountains of pure bs to deal with

If not I will be totally fucked cuz there’s barely any sr staff IC roles in the company, or basically entire industry
