Carl Jung coined the term introvert, as well as extrovert. His definition is much different than yours, although it’s a bit dated in that it’s not the popular definition nowadays. Here it is: "attitude-type characterised by orientation in life through subjective psychic contents" I think claiming that all introverts don’t want to learn how to socialize is a little bold. Not every introvert is anti social. I’d say I’m an introvert, but I have no problem socializing. I work as a host at a restaurant, I hang out with friends, I go to parties, I don’t sit on my ass all day. On the other hand, I feel rejuvenated when I spend time by myself. I don’t crave social interaction, but I don’t mind it either. I think what you’re describing is the anti social type.
