Most underratedly sad Deerhunter/Atlas Sound songs?

True! Just to clarify this post isn’t to reduce any Deerhunter song to just “sad.” I agree that the layers of raw and complex emotion in his songs is one of Bradford Cox’s biggest songwriting strengths. Let the Bling Lead Those Who Can See But Cannot Feel impacted me SO much because of how strangely personal and specific it felt to my unique situation at the time. I was just curious to see if anyone else had Deerhunter songs they felt were on the heavier side despite them not originally appearing to be that way. Monomania comes across as very angsty and passionate, but the more I listen the more the lyrics hit me straight in the heart.

Also anything off of Weird Era is always extremely amazing!
