The most "What the fuck" moment with your siblings?

Some people have weird family dynamics. My husband informed his parents that we were engaged about 6 months after the fact. They probably already knew since we hung out with them while I was wearing the ring...

Then we eloped in France 6 months after that and they were told later. He also didn’t tell them we bought a house until his dad said, “You shouldn’t buy XYZ. Start saving for a house!” Response, “I already did that.”

It’s weird, man. I told my mom everything and talked for hours on the phone nearly every day. Perhaps it’s cultural since he’s Asian, idk. I wouldn’t say their relationship is strained. He loves them dearly, is very easy going with them, and visits often for whole days at a time. They just don’t talk about some things.
