I get where your going but I don’t know if a kid sent nudes it’s the parents fault. I can see some situations where it is but I think it’s pretty normalized in a lot of ways for younger people. Having control is important and sometimes you have to a make a point but these things aren’t black and white enough to say sent nodes is a bad parent or bad kid.

That being said I do have access to my Kids phone even though we’re past the minor stage. I do not however look at it any longer since after 18 and evidence of making good decisions means that I still guide but your kid has to grow into a functional adult and can’t do so without having confidence and overcoming mistakes. If they were under 18 I’d want random checks also.
