I'm gonna ignore my mother today. VLC anyway. I will be calling my wonderful grandmother and aunt as they deserve today. My MIL is more BEC to me. Hard for her to get that people have wide ranges in interests. She spent a good portion of yesterday really pushing DH and i to go to a movie. While we appreciated the offer and all, the only time would have been right at our daughters bedtime and we JUST got that thing worked out so we don't want to mess up the routine. She wouldn't take no and kept asking if we werw going. Until DH said again that no we don't want to go. What burned me was the passive agressive, "well maybe (me) wants to go, ya ever think of that huh huh huh?" Lady Im standing right here, If I wanted to go I would have piped up already. Don't put me in the middle of all that. Left a sore note on our otherwise relaxing Saturday and I'm kinda wandering if well be "encouraged" to do something today. I just want to relax and have some cute family photos taken. I'm sorry it's not mothers saying enough?
