Movie dates were a lot more formal back then (1957).

Hate to be that guy but at least 70s-80s even 90s (and older) music felt so full of soul, time and effort. People put time and love into their work.

Nothing will ever compare to a Pink Floyd solo at least to me, or even Jimmy. Love the guitar and the feelings in the music. I'm tired of hearing "music" that sounds like it's pieced together in garageband programs.

Artists should play instruments, or I won't listen.

That being said however I'm mentioning just a few bands and agree most of every era is usually garbage. However, to me due to computers it seems every new era won't be as special as the last. I try to listen to new music only to be severely disappointed.

80s metal was definitely better too but just my opinion.

I mean look at what Metallica turned into, complete garbage but up to black was amazing. Chevelles new stuff is meh, I can enjoy take out the gunman but it falls short of almost every other song they released. Deftones newest album was meh. It's obviously opinion but what the hell happened to all the bands? I could honestly go on.

Trying to make real music appealing to the electronic age ruined music. It's really the truth. Autotune and recorded sounds literally make up most music and I can't stand the radio anymore. At least if you name bands from 70-90s people will remember how many were good. If I had to listen to 00-10s music I'd probably die laughing at how awful it is. Even rap used to at least be meaningful. Now it's just words another hired writer wrote for autotune boy to say over a prerecorded track they didn't even write either, so pitiful.

tl;dr older music just is better and "real". I won't be convinced a kid in his mom's basement piecing together audio clips is good music. (Most released music nowadays)

Basically expressing my hatred for new music. I try and try to like but can't. :/
