MPs’ fury as 55m people in England face months in top tiers

You say "all" as if maybe 5 or 6 out of 195 countries means anything in the grand scheme of things. It is a global pandemic and a shit ton of people are going to get infected, most countries will fare badly, some will be very successful. But a lot of it is damn bad luck as to how hard you are initially hit and how much you can sacrifice your economy to take certain measures.

Every day I see posts on reddit like "Omg I hate the world and all those fucking losers that have caused this pandemic" (not you, other people) as if they think it is easy and the solution is simple. Truth is all they know is how to wear a mask and stay at home, that's the fucking easy part. The complex part is solving the problem as a government dealing with millions of people, supply chains, health systems, economies, education etc.

Pandemics suck enough without the amount of negativity and shade people throw around.
