I did two missionary lessons and went to their church twice. I was instructed not to take sacrament until I was baptized. I had been baptized in a non denominational Christian church and was told that doesn't count because a paster doesn't have the authority of God. They never preached anything of the Bible, only BOM and testified Smith and Nelson as true profits. One lady testified she didn't like cats and was a dog person. I never felt welcomed and had an unsettling feeling while there. In the hallway the TBMs would whisper to me things about other members. Things like, that guy is gay, she just got divorced and had a faith crisis, his daughter just came out so we pray for him daily. etc.... I canceled my baptism date, said no thanks and went back to my original church. From a Christian outsider perspective, it's definitely a controlling cult financially exploiting its members with the term worthiness and threats of burning if you don't tithe. All members had superiority complexes they were better and most definitely more worthy than other Christians.
