While i agree with the main statement you're making i disagree that colleges are doing it with thwir admissions.

Many other minorities such as latin american, native indian americans, and black people generally grow up in areas with less access to educational help and this is due to historical racism. They adjust they admissions to account for these factors.

Plus college isnt just learning about your major, its also about learning to work with a more diverse group of people which you cant do unless you have a more diverse group of people at the college.
