The law isn't saying that you have to comply or die; it is saying that if you don't comply or act aggressively that a police officer has the right to defend himself with force in the event that he feels unsafe.

holy shit dude, this isn't that complicated. nobody ever said there was a law that says 'comply or die.' i'm saying that you excusing a police execution by stating 'well if they complied they wouldn't have been shot' is exactly what i said to start with. comply or die, of course it's not the law - i'm saying that they're breaking the law they're supposed to uphold, they're forcing people to comply because they're afraid that they'll be executed if they don't. that's exactly what's happening. so either you're being intentionally dense to not acknowledge that point, or you're just not bright enough to see it.

They have just as much as a right to life as anyone else, and if they feel threatened (which is very likely to happen at some point) they can take measures to protect themselves.

of course they have the right to life, again, nobody said anything to the contrary. but maybe, just maybe, if you're so terrified of being shot that you kill innocent people, then being a police officer is not the career path for you. maybe find a job in which your fear does not harm other people.
