How long does it take someone to do? Grab a willing friend who isn't familiar with the job to do a test one for you and see how long it takes them.

I'm confused on this (how is there "downtime" in a copy/paste task?). If you're asking if $5 an hour is a fair wage, then the answer is no.

I mentioned 'downtime' because I know I get bored pretty fast, so out of an hour copying and pasting I probably "waste" 20-30 minutes of that. So it would be like whatever $/hour allowing for 10% to be wasted. Pretty weird way of thinking about it, I'll just use your idea of having someone new do it.

Yes. You can grant your approved workers a qualification and then require workers to have that qualification in order to access other work you post in the future.

I'd recommend reading this: http://wiki.wearedynamo.org/index.php/Guidelines_for_Academic_Requesters. It's written for academic requesters but most of it is widely applicable to all types of requesters.

That was a bit helpful. I'll try measuring how long things take and then see if it will work.
