Voyager was exiting almost every episode, same with Enterprise

Hu, we mustn't have watched the same series, then. I remember a Voyager that was oabsolutely obsessed with the status quo. No matter what happened, by the beginning of the next episode every character had completely reset back to their original predispositions. The only real change is with the Kess character quitting the show after her actress went completely nuts. The producers did well in replacing her with eye candy. I mean Mistress Pain. I mean 7 of 9, yeah.

Think about it. There are probably distinct episode where the doctor betrays the Vger crew and joins a rebel band of holograms. Neelix and Paris are constantly vying for courtship of a 3 year old that had an early adolescence. Janeway consistently takes the worst possible decisions at every turn. Chakotay is always just kinda there and a little high. Belana is always using a modified dish beam to solve the anomaly of the week. Whatever alien people the save never gives them any noticeable aid. Even the borg augmentations on the ship are barely visible.

Don't get me wrong, Vger had a lot of potential. But it literally never went anywhere. And I'm still pissed that they abandoned Janeway's and Paris' babies on that planet. They had amphibian to human medical tech, why abandon the kids! Arg...
