Mueller asks to interview Trump in-person because written responses were 'not enough': report

Closely watching this all play out over the past year and a half, I can honestly say that the patience, discipline, intelligence, speed, and quite frankly, brilliance with which Robert Mueller is operating and overseeing what will most likely go down as the biggest political criminal scandal in our country's history, has been astonishing and a fucking masterpiece.

Think of how these events have unfolded:

1.) Mueller knew Trump was full of shit on June 9, 2017, when, during a press conference in the Rose Garden, Trump said he was “One hundred percent,” willing to testify under oath with the Special Counsel. Mueller also knew that Trump & his cronies would continue to come up with absurd reasons to delay, make new excuses, delay some more, make more ridiculous request (written answers and the topics to be included, really? Haha), etc., but that's what Mueller expected and was already ahead of.

2.) While Trump thought he was delaying and running the show for how and when things would be done, it was actually Mueller who was running the show as he used the back-and-forth negotiating/renegotiating of the "interview" as the bright shiny object for the less than bright people (Trump, Ghouliani, Kushner, etc.). In doing so, they were distracted from the fact that the investigation was moving ahead at full speed the whole time. Why? Well, Mueller is a legal genius and knows that you have to understand exactly how your target thinks, acts, and will act next so much that you can confidently anticipate what their next few moves will be, act accordingly and already be steps ahead.

3.) Mueller agrees to let Trump submit written responses to questions.

4.) Manafort "cooperates" after being convicted in his first criminal case. Mueller has a pretty good hunch from the start that Manafort isn't being truthful and that he's also feeding info (things/topics being asked about and what he told Mueller himself) back to Trump.

5.) Trump submits his responses to Mueller based on Manafort's "cooperating" answers that he provided to Mueller, which are obviously based on lies that the Special Counsel already has corroborating evidence to prove as being blatantly false.

6.) Mueller now wants to interview Trump in person to ask him again about the questions he answered to see if Trump A.) repeats the same lies again in person B.) changes his story and then has to explain why they are different now C.) does what he does best, makes up more new liese. This will also give Mueller a chance to ask him about other, lightly treasoned things/topics that haven't been discussed yet right there on the spot without any alternative fact preparation ahead of time for Trump.

7.) Checkmate, Trump.
