The Mueller report puts it beyond dispute: Trump is profoundly corrupt

I see this as the main problem with America. In order to run a successful business one is forced to break the law. Most people get by without getting caught or enforcement is non existent.

Let’s use illegal workers in the construction industry as an example. I don’t own a construction company but let’s say I did. Illegal workers will accept less pay because they are typically paid cash and they don’t have to give the government 40 cents for every dollar they earn. Now the companies are committing tax fraud, insurance fraud, and breaking labor laws. If I try to follow the law and bid against a company using illegal labor I will never beat their price. I will be out of business. I would have to break the law to stay in business. Since our government doesn’t enforce illegal labor laws I would most likely get away with it. If I ran for president my crimes would be exposed and I would either win the presidency and not be prosecuted or lose and face prosecution.

Everyone who owns or has owned a business knows this is how it works. So Trump supporters know he’s corrupt but they don’t care because they know corruption is a necessary evil in the American business world.
