Muffin Break boss slams Millennials, says young people won’t do unpaid work

I think it's a fair point, in part. I think it would be better stated as "young people won't compromise". When I started working (13 btw, stocking shelves for smokes), there was always a little give and take. I'd work a few minutes extra and then later I would take off a few minutes early. Which works great if the spirit is one of mutual benefit and compromise. But if one of the parties considers it an opportunity to get "what they deserve anyway", then the trust falls apart. People will justify the worst behaviour in their own minds as getting something they were entitled to. There is no doubt that employers take advantage of staff, but it is a two way street and I think that "inflated sense of worth" is a fair description, IMHO.
