Mumbai’s growing Hindi heartland - Mumbai is slowly becoming a predominantly Hindi-speaking city, fuelled by demographic changes caused by migration

So I have an idea.

Are you saying you are a dalit? You claim to be foreigner, you can't just say you faced caste discrimination like those bridegroom in Rajasthan who were stopped to ride horse in weddings.

Even if you are a dalit, as a dalit my advice is not to use "dalit card" in every argument.

You are supporting right wing fascist views here, at least look around who are the people which are supporting same views.

If you are dalit, then I suggest you read views of jignesh mewani to understand more inclusive dalit opinions. Chandrashekhar Azad ravan and ambedkar's caravan for more assertive views.

You need to understand brahmins are not dalit enemies. In fact biggest supporter of anti caste movement were always brahmins, they were friends of ambedkar. If any caste today will have least problem with marrying with dalit, then it is brahmins. Also SC/ST act was not included in constitution by ambedkar. It was put in 1989 by supportive forward and backward castes to stop dalit atrocities. Majority of forward caste elites don't deny dalit atrocities, thus are not our enemies.

Understand why we are not allied with Muslims. With 28% SC, ST and 14% Muslims, and total 42% votes, we will rule India forever. But Muslims are currently with regressive anti women religious views. Dalits following progressive views of ambedkar can never support regressive policies. Muslim plus dalit are 50%+ in UP but we are not allied there. Only dalits are 24%+ in Karnataka,Punjab, Bengal. Hindus in India are comparatively modern and thus more acceptable than Muslims.

Understand that Ambedkar was firm capitalistic. He wore costly suits. Gandhi said go to villages, ambedkar said go to cities. Ambedkar freaking well wrote book called "Buddha and Marx" where he explained why we can't support communism and socialism. It was Indira Gandhi who put words socialism in constitution and not ambedkar. Biggest poverty removal among dalits has happened after liberalization. More Dalits rightfully supported modi than Congress in 2014. If you don't know why then you don't understand dalits.

You know how in USA people say, "I am not racist but...", "I am a black man","I have a black wife","I have black friends", before saying racist things. All these things don't matter when you are speaking truth.

I just summarized dalit views here if you are from dalit caste born outside India. Anyway, even in public life, bring caste into discussion if it is absolutely necessary.
