Murderopolis

Whoah. I wasn't being hostile. I thoughtfully considered your criticism, and based on your comment, defended the notion that for-profit products are appealing. If I read your comment incorrectly, I apologize. But, you said, "I made a game. Give me money" when assigning a focus to my pitch. I think you'll agree that any reasonable person would have inferred you had some sort of disdain for someone wanting money from this process. Otherwise, why would it have made sense to say something along those lines?

Rummy. Hmm. Yes, quite a bit of card game mechanics involve matching cards. So, that comparison seems apt. I agree. However, Rummy would be a very basic form of those mechanics. There are lots of different actions involved in Murderopolis that make it compelling, from a strategic standpoint.

Again, thanks for your feedback. But, you're way wrong about me being hostile in response. I wasn't. Not in the slightest. If you offer criticism, you must be prepared to have said criticism analyzed in return. That's the entire point. I thoughtfully considered your criticism, and responded appropriately.
