Murray: Tennis women make same sacrifices as men

Women bring in farr more money and attention than men in modeling. Even though this is off-topic, same on Instagram and pornography as well. There's just so much more attention on women in those industries, so of course they'll be paid more because they bring in so much more business.

The womenswear industry is valued at 621 billion dollars whereas the menswear industry is valued at 402 billion dollars. So it's around 65% as large but the women are literally paid 3-5x more on the same campaigns / shoots. Additionally, women are often paid more than the men for much smaller jobs in terms of outreach. It's not unusual for a major menswear campaign to pay less than a relatively small womenswear brand.

Women's tennis is big, perhaps not as big as men's tennis but is still pretty big and brings in a lot of attention, especially when the Williams sisters are involved.

Women's tennis isn't as big as men's, but then the women are still getting PAID. At grand slams they're paid the same (rightly imo for a variety of reasons), but on the tour level they're earning a lot - more than the men were 6-8 years ago despite revenue at those events been lower than it was at the men's.
