As a musician (drummer), would it be "problematic" to cover/perform songs like RCHP's "Sexy Mexican Maid," Elton John's, "The Bitch is Back," etc.?

Thanks for your completely honest reply. I'll bring it up to my bandmates for us to consider. I recognize that while I don't endorse the song for its lyrics but rather for its drumbeat/instrumentals, other people in the audience may not see it that way, depending on their life experiences. People perceive things differently. Do you think it would better to perform songs with good instrumentals/groovy drum tracks that don't have a problematic message?

Moreover, I also have a YouTube channel in which I record and upload drum covers of songs. If I were covering Elton John's "The Bitch is Back," or RCHP's "Sexy Mexican Maid," and I put a disclaimer in the video description that I reject the problematic nature of the sentiment behind the lyrics but enjoy the drum track, would that be okay in your eyes?

Thanks for your detailed reply!
