They are being forced to commit apostasy to earn the right to live. What other country forces innocent people to do that?

I don't think any country in the world considers citizenship to be a right for illegal immigrants. I would like to see what provisions the 50 or so Islamic countries have for illegal Hindu immigrants.

That being said, prioritizing any religion is inherently bad. Unfortunately, the Indian Constitution does not guarantee against this, and even the general concept of secularism is treated differently in the Indian Constitution as compared to the Western concept.
