This was the middle of the city, so I couldn't just leave it out and not contribute to other problems. I thought by eating it I would at least not waste all the resources that went into growing this poor chicken's body.

It was ok. It's the combination of fat and salt that makes meat taste good for omnivores, so it did taste good. Before going vegan I ate meat like a normal person and I liked the taste of it, so it's not like I'm one of those that says 'I never liked meat'. It was kinda creepy to feel those textures again, and holding the bones and all. Ugh...

I felt full for longer, for sure but other than that I couldn't tell the next day.

And no, no tears were shed.
