My 13 year old daughter is pregnant and I need to know my legal options

This is shocking news and you are still in shock. Take some time to rest and revisit the issue after you’ve calmed and can think with a more level head.

Not trying to sway you in any one way or the other but on of my best friends in high school became pregnant at 14 and decided to keep the baby. It was a monumental struggle for her but her son is one of the brightest parts of my life and he isn’t even related to me.

Your thinking may change either way if you begin to think about this situation as the human life that it will be. The decisions made will decide his/her entire life. It’s possible that your daughter keeping the child is what is best. But it’s also entirely possible that adoption is the best course of action for all involved.

It is a weighty decision and having a clear mind when making it is important. Good luck and I hope it works out for everyone.
