My (22F) mum (55F) tells everyone about my autism and difficult childhood, despite an agreement to tell people only with my permission

I have noticed that a lot of parents of autistic kids think the autism is about them/a tragedy that happened to them... even if the kid is really high-functioning. I fully respect that some kids are kore difficult to care for than others, maybe even way more difficult, but some parents of autistic kids go straight off the deep end with it. A few years ago a mom in my family kept posting online about her hardships as a mom of someone autistic. Her blog, which talked about how her nearly grown child would always have the mind of someone younger and be unable to function in society, was a complete perversion of the real situation. Her now-adult child actually has a lot of good coping skills, moved out, has a good job, and started dating one of their friends a couple years ago. The mom's blog now goes on about how she can't get professionals to see she needs guardianship of the guy, and lies about his ability to function...
