Update #1: I spoke to her already & explained my concern & telling her I don’t want her to go. It was very startling as she did not really seem phased by all of this. She said she “thought about everything” I said already. She said she thinks this is a a great opportunity to go on a free trip, as she’s been stuck at work for a long while. I’m kinda shocked by that because she seems to be aware of all the safety concerns but is too infatuated at the fact it’s all free.

I found out this man is in his 70s & she was oddly defending this guy saying, he’s very lonely & his wife doesn’t speak to him & that he’s doing this to be happy. She told me he already bought hundreds of dollars in booze for them & I told her this is all crazy sketchy & she shouldn’t go.

I called her out too and said that she is acting very out of the ordinary, as she doesn’t really care for missing social gatherings of vacation much at all in general, but for this situation she wants to go very bad.

She’s gonna make a decision about going or not soon but we’re not talking until then. To be honest, I’m more than likely going to break up with her. She doesn’t really seem to care about what I am saying or her safety at all. She’s acting very suspicious.
