He knows I’m saving for a house and he knows what my budget is since I always tell him how much I have left for the month. I’m very transparent with him about my finances.

He never buys groceries ever. He has never offered because he would rather just eat out than make food, so if I say let’s go to the grocery store, he’ll say no and just pick up the tab. I do the grocery shopping on my own and he’s never asked me to buy him food, but I can’t just shop and make food for myself since he spends every night at my place and would have nothing to eat if I didn’t cook for him.

He does make less than me, but imo he spends money on things that are non essential which makes me mad when he says he’s broke. If he stopped spending $200 a month on supplements maybe he’d have extra money lol.
