My (27F) friend (27F) is angry at me for telling my son and daughter (6) the facts of life

My kids have started asking after her son. I've known her since we were 11. However, I also feel I did the right thing in telling my kids

You did do the right thing. YOU are their mother. They are YOUR children. It's your responsibility to teach your kids the "facts-of-life" not your friend or anyone else. It may not be what she would've done but, she.isn't.their.parent.

she messaged me saying that I shouldn't have told my kids, that they'll end up being a bad influence on other kids and that I've robbed them of their innocence and that she doesn't want her son's innocence ruined too.

This is the part I strongly encourage you to pay attention to. She's not just upset and/or disagrees with your parenting choices...she thinks you are a bad parent for not having a similar parenting style. Hence, not wanting your kids around.

You call her your friend but she isn't acting like it. She's trying to force her parenting style onto you (hence the judgemental behavior and "perfect parent syndrome").
