I'm sure I'll get downvoted to hell over this but... It's great that he has those degrees but if he isn't doing anything with them, being a doctor or something else, then what is he doing with his life and contributing to the household? Are there children that he's taking care of? Is he just going to sit on the couch with no job while OP brings home the bacon and pays all the bills? Even if he's just getting part time jobs many people, male and female, want more from their relationship than that. So if he's not doing anything with all his education and refusing to get help for his apathy and potential mental malaise then yes, OP, it's perfectly reasonable to move on from this relationship. That may just be the kick in the pants he needs to get his life back in gear and moving forward again.
