My [30F] boyfriend [26M] of 10 months can't or won't get out of bed until the afternoon, even if it means ruining plans he's made with me. Red flag or acceptable flaw?

Hey! A few years ago I was exactly the same as your boyfriend! Going late to bed and I HAD to get 12 hours of sleep. When I tried to go out before that time, I would get very sick. I would vomit, feel very dizzy and was overall not able to function as a human. I had zero energy to do normal things. It was bad. So, enough was enough and I went to the doctor, who did a sleep apnea test (negative) and a blood test. The results were some lack of vitamins /minerals (because i slept so long that I had not enough time to eat properly) AND my thyroid was off, because I have the hashimoto disease. I got medication and 4 months later (it takes some time to adjust) I was another human.

Also going to bed at 22-23 pm and doing some sort of physical activity made it a lot better. I would also try that, if he's down.

I'm not saying, that he has the same disease. But even without showing symptoms he could feel very shitty. Like many already said : he should see a doctor. It's not normal and could get worse, if not treated right.

Good luck! :)
