I just want to say that you and your family are not alone. My paternal grandfather molested my sister snd female cousins. The story sounds to similar in that the events occurred during unsupervised overnight visits.

Don't feel any guilt about cutting ties with your father. He needs help obviously but also is a grown adult who has committed a criminal act.

Please get your daughter into therapy immediately otherwise this could potentially do long-term damage. My sister didn't get help because she hid what happened and it basically destroyed her childhood. She ended up in a group home which is where the secret finally came out. We then had to deal with years of visits from social workers who wanted to know the depths of the abuse. It tore out family apart.
