I was steered in the direction of a 20 year old data analyst that was hired about two weeks after I took a position in their call center. I was good at my job and was consistently top 1 or 2 of our ‘sales’ team after like day 3. Btw I was offered $8/hr by the ceo of this company that used to work with my dad before he branched out and started his own company in the same industry. Everyone else started at 12-15 as I discovered, but I was in a rough spot at the time. Anyway, I impressed these fucks enough at some point I guess and was given a list of fake leads every month before checks went out. (Just remember you paid us once a month, tom Donahue). Anyway, I was given a list of these fake leads that I was tasked with putting them through our system and the colleges would pay us for finding them “prospective students.” I already knew this analyst kid. He was learning SQL at the time and he basically wrote a script that would put the entire fake lead list through our system with one click. Normally I would input every bit of information about these prospective students by hand which would take about 5 minutes per student. They would tell me to put in enough leads to get our profit to 20-30k. I turned a full 9 hour constant process into the click of a button. And I quit very quickly after that because fuck those criminal pieces of shit.
