My '64 Impala, getting a full body massage at the shop. Bought this one in '04 while serving in Iraq, wired the guy money to hold it. Became my daily driver for many years, had no idea how heavy and full of bondo she was!

Love it, my favorite car! When I was 19 I was on the hunt for 1967 to 1969 Camaro, after looking at a ton of those an old farmer in Palmer, AK had a '64 Impala for sale for $2000. Didn't think much when I saw the ad but decided to go look. it was a '64 2 door hardtop with a 327 out of a '65 Vette (numbers verified) and 4 speed M22, Positraction, factory bucket seat dash tach car, not sure how it worked in those days, it seemed to be almost an SS, but wasn't. I bought it for $1800 (a deal even then, in 1991) and drove it daily throughout the rest of college then on into real life. Daily driver every day for about 6 years in Alaska. It was so heavy and with the posi and good studded tires it was an unstoppable tank. I commuted 110 miles a day for a few years. College loans were needing paid back so she got sold, since she wasn't the best commuter. Saw it on eBay again at some point years later, it had moved on down to Missouri, I tried to buy it but didn't win the bid, the next buyer said he'd keep contact, no idea if they still have it or not. Anyway, TL:DR, I was chasing a Camaro, but by chance fell in love with the '64 Impala instead, they are my favorite car now.
