My 9 year old daughter is ruining my life.

I'd be really cautious about videoing her during one of these episodes. My husband is on the spectrum (not severe enough to really affect his life anymore, but he had some particularly rough patches during early puberty) and he still has not gotten over his father filming him during breakdowns he had as a child. To the point where he hates seeing photos or videos of any kind from his childhood, and any time it gets brought up he's clearly still very upset about it - and I don't think his parents even showed those videos to anyone else. If it can be dealt with without making her feel like her privacy has been violated as it clearly did for my husband, that would be preferable. Of course if it's desperate and there's no other way to convince anyone then there might not be much of an alternative.
