My argument on a pro-socialism sub

Personally, if I was going to socialize a part of our economy it would be transportation. If you truly believe in climate change and think we need to do something about it, transportation creates the most carbon output in our economy so this is the natural place to start. But I felt going door to door and taking people's cars would go even less well than taking their guns (I guess you'd need to take their guns first). So, then it hit me that the entertainment industry is a better example of what you risk losing without a huge disruption in their lives. And, hey, if it works out, PBS puts out a few good programs or whatnot, then we can expand into other areas of the economy.
