My Battle with SIBO and Candida - I'm on the road to recovery, I hope to inspire you to get through!

I was wondering if anyone has tried concentrated herbs yet? I ask because I'm not certain what is curing me after suffering from this illness for over 3 years now.

I went on terbinafine for 3 months a little over 5 months ago. And after 2 months in I went back for a check up and even doctor was a little disappointed on the progress, but I did show some minor signs of improvement on my nails so we continued with it.

After the visit I decided to change up a bunch of things

*I Increased salt and water intake to increase digestion, water was mixed 1/2 tap/distilled and left open in fridge 12hr to dechlorinate. *Cannabis concentrates were; 1 week of rick Simpson oil followed by 3 weeks of vodka based tincture, using about 1/8oz a day for 1 month total *Bone broth 1-2c per 6-8quarts of soup, soup was eaten daily. *Homemade coconut oil chocolate, my trojin horse!

After these changes again I saw some improvement but it still wasn't my cure, my finger nails where largely improved but I still had other fungal rashes even a month after the script ran out. I then read about using natural anti-fungals and proceeded to try a few.

"Anti-fungal use if you have finger nail or toe nail issues or a rash in the groin or arm pit is a fair indicator of a fungus. Probiotics were taken in the morning to help with digestion, anti-fungals in the afternoon-evening."

Anti-fungals used; *Oregano oil, 1-4 drops a day mixes well at 8-15 drops per ounce of olive oil. *Cinnamon oil, 1-2 drops a day, mixes well at 5-7 drops per ounce of olive oil. Also great in teas. *Clove oil, 1 drop a day, mixes well at 5-7 drops per ounce of olive oil

Salad twice a day, base salad was roman or green/red leaf, "mostly green" kale, cilantro bunch, 1/2 garlic and others were sometimes added for variety. Garlic is another great anti-fungal and cilantro to remove heavy metals from the body.

Coconut oil was used topically on fungus effected areas at morning and night, scrapped under the nails covering the entire fingers in a thin coat, same for your toes. The reason being is the fungus can actually be quite far back into the base of your toes or fingers. Something new I'm trying; Coconut oil infuse - Melt 1 cup of Coconut oil and add a few drops of oregano oil, cinnamon oil, clove oil, for fragrance some tea tree oil.

Note; I noticed I seemed to respond better if I ate some sugar and grains. So my diet shifted to incorporate grains and sugars again twice a week and in between days I ate stevia or coconut flour treats trying to slowly bring up my sugar levels.

I didn't mean to go on so long, but I'm not 100% certain if it's the oils or something else. But I've been eating nearly what ever I want now and it actually seems to help when I stray, I even made doughnuts today so I'm really curious on other peoples experiences.

Anyway I'll leave a little link on cinnamon oil for anyone interested. Link
