What are the arguments about?

I wouldn’t worry too much about him not texting you during work hours. My SO lessened off texting contact since I saw him, but he explained to me that he was feeling quite depressed and, even though he wasn’t contacting me as much, he was contacting me more than anyone else. That conversation wasn’t as nice as I’ve described it here! But we dealt with the emotions of it afterwards and everything is now good again.

I think you need to just ask him ... But keep in mind that it might just want to have contact with other people and that isn’t necessarily him not wanting contact with you. I think you probably need to focus more on what the arguments are about.
