Why is it faulty logic? Most rapists have had a horrible up bringing and have delt with shit that's unimaginable. Unless you know what their upbringing was like or have a deep knowledge of their thought process you can't say shit. I'm not trying to justify rape by any means but you need to realise that their is a cause to their behaviour.

What if this dude saw his mother getting raped by an abusive father daily so it's all he knows? What if he was raped by his father so it's all he was taught how to do? What if he was made to go to boarding school where he saw abuse and only delt with abuse so it's all he knows?

At the end of the day we don't know this dude and we don't know if it's nature vs nurture but more often than not it is sadly nurture. So yeah man I think I can justify feeling sorry for this dude and you're only justification is "raPe bAD" (which it is a horrible act don't get me wrong) but I feel like the only thing for this dude is to have some deep therapy and working on whatever trauma he's more than likely had in his upbringing.

Better than killing the guy or making him waste away in prison for years where he'll just get mad at the world and reoffend again when he gets out.
