My boss went through the security cameras. He asked why I go on so many property walk at night.

You have the classic attitude of everyone I have met that defends driving high/working high. Ill say the same as you: whatever floats your boat. I have an issue of it if it was my store/establishement. Other then that, you can do what you want its not my deal. But let me say this:

  • You began to challenge basic ideas and thats your justification for getting high at work, even used a Oscar Wilde quote? You are just bored and want something to do. He "lead a discussion about human behaviour and how generations group to specific ideas"...So you took Pysch 101? Please man, tone it down a notch. There is no one to impress here.

  • Other people dying from other causes changes absoulutley NOTHING for this. Go to court for assault and tell the judge "Yes but Mr. Judge, the guy before me KILLED someone!" and see if your charges are dropped. Same goes for the drunken meth heads of your establishment.

You are the perfect cliche, as said below, of the 21 year old trying to defend getting high. And don't bring out the "if it was prescribed it would be okay" argument. Nope. Still wrong, you are still intoxicated.

I am also a 21 year old, in university, getting straight A's, holding down a solid job. It is nothing special or miraculous, and shouldn't be justification for smoking on the job "because its stressful". Then take one less class or less hours, or get a loan, and make it so you arent so stressed you feel you have to get high at work. These 3 options may not always be possibilities, but you get my point. But, the stress of all this is a reason to vape if it helps you, do it. Just not on the job. Let me be clear that its the on the job I see as the issue. I am going 7 days a week every week with school and work. Its part of life, get used to it.

As for your question, yes I medicate for cancer reasons among others. I have permanent symptoms including nerve damage, residual pain where my tumors were, and for my personal moral as there is a fairly large chance it comes back. I also have a sleep disorder, ADHD (diagnosed professionally) and more.

This may seem harsh, but it also the truth. As I said above, if it isnt my establishment I don't give 2 shits about what you do during work. But if you lost your job because of it or were reprimanded, I wouldn't feel bad in the slightest. I am a big pro-marijuana user for a wide variety of reasons, but just not at work/while driving. You do not expose others to the choice you decide to make. As you said, I respect your choice, yet disagree completely.
