Being honest they were really hard and I struggled a lot at first. You go through the motions of we can be happy again if I just be more x, y, z and then guilt and your confidence is a puddle of sh*t and the only thing that matters is getting them back regardless of the cost to your self worth.
I think what really helped me was giving myself a new routine and setting goals for myself that had absolutely nothing to do with being in a relationship or that person so that I could a. Distract myself and b. Build up my self confidence (although i would say honestly it started off with the former).
