I cannot recommend enough the website/app called Eat This Much. I am not a rep for that company, I promise. You’ll need to do your homework and figure out how many calories he should be eating and what macros (percentage of carbs, protein, and fat). All this info is readily available online. Search for “calculate TDEE” and go from there. But once you have a plan, Eat This Much is an awesome tool for meal planning and grocery lists. It’s completely customizable for whatever you plan, and will calculate different portions for each of you if your calorie needs are different. I use it to shop and plan meals for my whole family.

But the key is to have a plan. When you wake up each morning, you should already know everything you’re going to eat that day and what amount of exercise you’re going to do. Then you just go about your day not having to worry about anything.
